Landscaping and Curb Appeal in Gladwyne PA

Home to about 4,000 residents, Gladwyne is a suburban community locating in Montgomery County along Philadelphia's Main Line district. Originally known as Merion Square, in 1891 Gladwyne was given its name to  distinguish itself from all the local "Merions" in the area. Gladwyne was a mill town with 24 operational mills along Mill Creek at one time during the beginning of the twentieth century. Over the years, the mills moved out and more and more residential developments moved in.  Landscaping in Gladwyne PA

Several farms around the area add to the local and historical charm of Gladwyne including the Idlewild Farm complex, a 47-aces farm with additional buildings which is donated to the Natural Lands Trust and the Saunders Woods Farm.  Bridlewild Trail is an extensive 35-mile trek through the Henry, Rolling Hill, Idlewild Farms and Saunders Woods area.
