Well, as most of you know, Tim and I have been venturing back to the Washington state area from Missouri over the last couple weeks. (Why does it take 2 weeks to move across the country? - Well, I don't like to drive and doing so with a cat, dog and two rambunctious boys is quite tiring.)
But for the last couple weeks we have packed up, loaded up and moved from Springfield Missouri to the small town of Marysville Washington, just 30 miles north of Seattle. We grew up in this area and only lived in Missouri for two years so in a sense it was coming home.
We had a two-year ministry project in Springfield Missouri that we had the option to extend for another two years if we wanted to. Knowing how difficult it was going to Liberia this last March without any family around to take care of our place and our boys, it just made sense if we were to do more short-term mission trips to be easier out of a home base around the majority of our family.
Although we are still in the ministry ( and, if you're in the ministry it means you serve no matter what you're doing and where you are), we have felt that this is the best move for our family at this time.
Many of you may not know that my husband Tim worked at the Preview Properties brokerage in Seattle for about 10 years as their IT Director and I was once an agent for several years. Now, armed with our education, experience, and research, we are excited to jump into this new season of life solely working our SEO business.
So, amid boxes and bare walls, I sit in the favorite room of my old house (which we were able to keep and just rent out for 2 years) looking out into the drizzly Seattle day to my backyard that has overgrown beyond what I could ever imagine, and much cooler weather that I experienced just last week, and I'm content, at peace, and excited to start this new full-time adventure.
I want to thank all of you that read my blogs on a consistent basis and those that have been patient with us during this move. We love SEO and I love helping agents grow their online presence and marketing and am passionate about my God, my family, and my job! Bring it on!!
